The national swim season started with last week´s Salzburger championship. Our athletes Sabine Weber-Treiber, Stefan Sarma and Andy Onea had also been active at international events (Darmstadt (D) and Eger (HU)) and in the non-disabled field (National Indoor championship in Graz).
In addition to the swimmers of the BSV Weißer Hof, Stefan Sarma (Stockerau)startet for the NÖVSV. Stefan practiced at the ASV 2000 in Stockerau and because of his last year´s performance he is now swimmer /international for the ÖBSV.
Andy Onea was very satisfied with his performance and in view to London the development of the breast-specialist is more than visible.
“I am especially pleased with the times at 100m breast, the Austrian Record at 100m dolphin and the victory as best swimmer on points in the overall standings.”, so Andy Onea who won 5 times Gold.
Sabine Weber-Treiber was Trainer Rosenberger´s sensation of the competition. With 2:00,39 for 100m breast she broke her own record from the European Championship 2011 and for 50m backstroke and 50m breast she set another two Austrian records.
Stefan Sarma managed to break the 2:00,00 minutes mark for 100m backstroke. A further Austrian record for 25m free-style and two Austrian Youth records for 50m backstroke and 50m free-style made his fantastic performance complete.
Another podium places has been for Mac Schilling for 50m breast and for Martin Roth for 200m individual medley. Both could reach the third place.
Trainer and leader of the section Rosenberger could be very satisfied with the NÖVSV-swimmers. The beginning is done and in Dornbirn (ÖSTM) and London we will see the results!!!
